Zuujis Store is run by Zuujis LLC, a small company in Huntsville, Alabama. There is no warehouse behind this website and no team of buyers. It's a shop built on top of someone else's supply chain, and this page explains exactly what that means before you spend any money here.
What we actually do
Our fulfillment partner's catalog runs to about 1.4 million items. Almost all of it is unsellable as it comes: the titles are keyword soup, the descriptions are machine-translated, the photos are inconsistent, and a good fraction of it is out of stock at any given moment.
We list about ten thousand of those items. Getting there means checking that stock actually exists, rewriting the title and description into something a person can read, translating them into the six languages the store supports, pricing against what the same item sells for elsewhere, and dropping anything we can't sell at a sensible margin. That work is the product. The physical goods come from the same place a lot of other shops get theirs.
Where your order comes from
We hold no stock. When you order, the order goes to our partner, who picks it from whichever warehouse has the item and hands it to a carrier.
Most of those warehouses are in China. A few thousand items sit in US warehouses and reach American addresses considerably faster, and there's a small amount of stock in Spain, the UK, and Germany. You can't always tell from a listing which one you'll get.
This is the reason an order takes 7 to 20 business days instead of two. It's also the reason the prices are what they are. We think the trade is worth it, but you should make that call knowing what it is, so we wrote it all out on the shipping page.
What we control, and what we don't
We decide what gets listed, what it costs, how it's described, and who answers when you email. Those are ours and we'll own the outcome.
We don't manufacture anything, we don't pack the boxes, and we have no influence over how fast a carrier moves or how long customs holds a parcel. When something goes wrong at that end, our job is to chase it and to make you whole, not to explain why it isn't our fault. The refund policy sets out the windows we work to.
Where the reviews come from
Most of the star ratings on this site were not written by Zuujis customers. They come from the marketplace our supplier sells through, where the same item has been bought by other people, and we import them along with the product. Anything from that source is labeled "Marketplace review" where it appears.
Reviews from people who bought the item here are labeled as verified purchases. We opened the store recently, so there aren't many of those yet, and we'd rather say so than pad the numbers. We don't write reviews, we don't buy them, and we don't delete a review for being unflattering.
How we price
Prices are set by a rule, not by hand. Every listing has to clear its cost plus payment fees plus a minimum margin, and it's capped against what we can see the same item selling for elsewhere. Nothing on the site is priced below what it costs us, and nothing is marked up to a number the market wouldn't bear.
Shipping is a live carrier quote pulled at checkout for your actual address. We don't pad it and we don't use it to recover margin.
